For a few years, Jacky Ickx conducted car tests for specialized magazines, mainly German.
Jacky Ickx and Mazda
In 1990, Jacky Ickx was hired as a technical advisor by Mazdaspeed for the 24 hours of Le Mans.
In 1991, he was called up again as team manager for Le Mans and Mazda won. The factory offered a MAZDA RX7 Biturbo to Jacky Ickx who will keep it for 3 years.
In 2001, while visiting Japan with Vanina, he was invited to perform a test of the FD 02.
